Med anledning av att Thomas Millroth inom kort utger den andra delen i sitt bokverk om konstnärsgjorda böcker visar vi en mindre utställning av Artists' Books från senare år. Samtidigt visar vi verk av den mest kompromisslöse utövaren av bokhantverk i Sverige - Richard Årlin, som utgivit en rad böcker där nästan allt är av hans egen tillverkning: böckernas papper, trycktyper, illustrationer i koppargrafik och andra tekniker, samt bokband.

Thomas Millroth will shortly be publishing the second volume of his work on Artists' Books. The bookfair this year will feature a small exhibition of recent works from his collection, as well as a rich selection of works by the most uncompromising practitioner of bookcraft in Sweden - Richard Årlin. His books are hand-made to an astonishing degree: Årlin makes his own watermarked paper, cuts and casts the types, engraves the illustrations, prints the books and produces the bindings.
